Thiessen Ranch is owned and operated by Dan and Melissa Thiessen and their three boys – Huck, Gus and Otto.

The family farm in Walla Walla, Washington holds Wagon Wrench Vineyard (formerly Mission Hills Vineyard) with Sangiovese, Barbera, and Cabernet Franc grape varietals along with irrigated pasture ground. The pasture is currently home to Thiessen cattle, goats, laying hens, and our livestock guardian dog. Sheep and swine also make our farm their home each year.

Additionally, the Thiessen family has a ranch in Asotin, Washington that Dan was raised on. Our cattle start their lives on this ranch before coming to our Walla Walla farm for finishing. Learn more about our history and our beef program on the Proteins page.
